# Talkie > Dictate into Claude Code, Slack, or Mail, record memos, and transcribe meetings. Talkie keeps each with its screen, to search or hand to an agent. Talkie is a Mac app (with an iPhone companion) for dictation, voice memos, screen captures and meeting transcripts. Dictation and voice memos are transcribed on the device; meeting transcripts come from ElevenLabs or Deepgram, with the user's own API key. The `talkie` command and its MCP server (`talkie mcp`) give agents the library on that Mac. ## Docs - [Get started](https://www.talkie.to/docs/start.md): Install Talkie for Mac, allow the microphone, and dictate into the app you are already using. - [Say](https://www.talkie.to/docs/say.md): Dictate into any Mac app with a shortcut or push-to-talk, fix the words Talkie gets wrong, and choose the speech model and microphone. - [CLI](https://www.talkie.to/docs/cli.md): The talkie command: read memos, dictations, captures and workflow runs from the terminal, pair devices, and run an MCP server for agents. - [CLI reference as JSON](https://www.talkie.to/docs/cli.json): every command, alias and flag of @talkie/cli 0.4.11 ## Facts - [Product facts](https://www.talkie.to/facts.json): platforms, features, where audio is processed, and download links, as JSON ## Optional - [Mac dictation](https://www.talkie.to/mac-dictation): Dictate into Mac apps with Talkie.
